This tour takes place in Praia do Barril and Cacela Velha, giving us the opportunity to get to know a tiny coastal village on a hill above the Ria Formosa Natural Park. A church, the ruins of a 17th century castle, three streets, a handful of houses and one of the most beautiful views in the Algarve.
The village is worth a visit these days as it offers stunning views over the sea and the wide sand dunes of the Ria Formosa. Next, we continue to the Praia do Barril route which takes us to see an incredible and rustic anchor cemetery and a unique promenade by the sea.
