Trail in Douro Valley through astonishingly beautiful world heritage landscape As the right place for wine lovers, there are located the main Port producing houses.

Inserted in the region of Cima Corgo, right in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Wine Region and Alto Douro Vinhateiro, is a wine producing landscape classified by UNESCO as a living evolutive cultural landscape.

On the half slopes that border the River Pinhão and the River Douro, between the towns of Pinhão and Casal de Loivos, many of the Douro's historic quintas can be found, harmoniously inserted into the landscape, as well as the main Port wine producing houses, which invite tourists to taste their wines and, during the harvest season, to take part in their "lagaradas".

In Casal de Loivos, there is a byway to its belvedere, allowing you to appreciate what was considered by an English newspaper as the third most beautiful landscape in the world.
