In this municipality there are several monuments and place names associated with Santiago and the pilgrimage to Compostela.

From april to september, in the morning, we will go canoeing throught the Rabaçal River. The rest of the year, we will go hiking in the Ecovia do Rabaçal.
This trail begins in the Rabaçal River Beach and finishes in the Torto River Beach.
After traveling a short distance we will find the “do Agostinho” Bridge, a roman bridge from the first century a.d. We will also get to know the Village of Cachão, an uninhabited village, but which continues to host the pilgrimage of São Genésio in August.
This village is is today a garden of various fruit trees and also various types of secondary vegetation, such as giestais.
