Douro Demarcated Region, a World Heritage by UNESCO

Discover Douro vineyard landscape, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO and enjoy its diverse wines

This tour starts in Favaios, one of the 5 villages in the Douro Demarcated Region that is officially known as “Aldeia Vinhateira” (wine-growing traditional village) and where you will get to know the famous “Favaios bread” and the well-known and distinctive Favaios Moscatel wine.

The following day we will do a trail that starts and ends in Alijó, near the century-old sycamore tree of this small town. In this village you can find constructions, among others, that dates back to past centuries.

The next trail begins and finishes in the village of Ribalonga, that still preserves the traditional architecture of winegrowing villages.

Inserted in the region of Cima Corgo, right in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Wine Region and Alto Douro Vinhateiro, there is a wine producing landscape classified by UNESCO as a living evolutive cultural landscape. In our final day of hiking, we will be enjoying it. To conclude the day we will visit an emblematic winery .

You will spend the last day of the tour as a free day at Porto.
