This day trail goes towards Alijó passing through Castelo de Vilarelho, a fortified settlement where the first inhabitants of the region lived during the Iron Age. Their remains survived the posterior Roman, Suebi and Arab occupations of the territory. In Alijó the trail passes through the historical centre of the town, where an imponent century-old sycamore tree can be found. In Favaios, do not miss its rich historical and cultural heritage: admire its fountains, chapels, churches, manors and stately homes, several granite milestones, which used to demarcate the former Douro Demarcated Region.
Later visit the "Favaios, Pão e Vinho" Museum Nucleus, whrere we can travel in time and and see the confection of the traditional and internationally recognized Favaios wine and the bread tradition, and the street known for its artisans bakers in Favaios.

The trail starts and ends in Alijó.
One of the highlights of Alijó is its mother church which dates back to the 18th century.
There one can still find the baptismal font, two chalices (respectively from the 14th and the 16th century), an image of “Santa Maria Maior” in Ançã stone (16th century), the “Paços do Concelho” (Town Hall), the Pillory, the chapel of “Senhor do Andor” or “Senhor dos Passos”, and the granary of Alijó.
The trail continues towards Castedo passing through Granja.
In the village of Castedo, the parish church, which dates back to the 18th century, is of particular interest due to the richness of its interior decoration, its fully coffered ceiling as well as a beautiful monstrance - chalice from the same period of the construction of the church.
The return to Alijó is marked by the presence of vineyards and the possibility of taking a deviation to the chapel and viewpoint of São Domingos, both located on the “Monte de São Domingos”.

This day trail follows through the village of Murça toward Tinhela river, one of the most well-preserved rivers in Europe, with an exceptional fauna and flora richness in which the “Passadiços do Tinhela” allow to enjoy safely and experience more intensely all the natural surroundings of its banks.
The urban section of this hike follows through various points of heritage and cultural interest, namely the cooperative winery of the village, the Praceta Soldado Milhões and the iconic Porca de Murça (Sow of Murça).
To finish we will have a tasting experience of wine, olive oil and conventual sweets in "Quinta Monte São Sebastião".

The trail departs from the village of Casal de Loivos and leads you towards the village of Vilarinho de Cotas, where you can take a short deviation to the Castle of Vilarinho de Cotas.
The trail then continues towards the village of Vale de Mendiz.
This route passes through several historical Douro farms, whose terraced vineyards, carved by the locals on the steep and wild slopes of the Douro River valley and its main affluents, are almost exclusively destined for the production of Port wine.
We can still observe, scattered across the landscape, some of the primitive vineyard terraces, known locally as “mortórios” and whose cultivation was abandoned at the end of the 19th century after an attack of phylloxera which decimated the Douro vineyards.
Those are currently occupied by thicket of great floristic and faunistic value of high ecological importance.
To end this day we will visit "D'Origem" Museum and have a tasting experience of the regional wine.

This day trail begins in Vila Real and ends in the village of Nogueira.
This route develops on a path overlooking the Corgo River and allows you to go through a large part of the south of Vila Real, within the Douro Demarcated Region.
It crosses an old railway bridge of the Linha do Corgo, developing along the Ecopista da Linha do Corgo, a descent along the left bank of the river, marked by the majority presence of vines, only interrupted in less favorable situations with the persistence of natural shrub vegetation.
The trail goes through the old railway halt at Cruzeiro and the village of Penelas, where you can appreciate the architectural beauty of the Santa Luzia Chapel. After crossing another railway bridge of the Linha do Corgo, the trail also passes by the Carrazedo Railway Station, allowing you to relive the vitality that the railway once provided in these parts, after its implementation in the early twentieth century.
Concluded the hike we will visit "Come na 2"where we will have a taste of the regional wine and later experience pottery.
